Vehicle description
This is a beautiful 1985 300 CD in pearl black metallic paint and palomino interior. Upon purchase you will receive everything I got when I purchased it 5 years ago, to include the EBAY write up I saw when I purchased this car. This is a great car, it was well taken care of and garage as stated by earlier owner, and everything he told me was spot on. The car was well maintained, and I only brought it up a notch. Since I have had the car, I have adjusted the valves, purged the fuel system to include all filters(tank included), brakes lines and rears redone, as well as fluid flush. I rebuilt the turbo, now you can hear it wind up nicely (had a couple fan blade chipped). I welded a section of floor under the gas pedal that had rusted(common problem)and por 15 coated it. I rebuilt the front suspension, springs, ball joints, tie rods and everything to make it ride like new, had a shop align it (paper work on alignment in the paperwork). The first aid kit is compete and original, the spare is original, the traffic triangle is original, the jack is original, the tools may be but they are in such good shape, not sure. So the car starts up each and every time and the trans shifts smooth, the AC works, I charged it 3 yrs ago, still cold. The radio work, lights, horn, wipers everything to pass inspection. The cassette player doesn"t work, I tried to clean it, but no joy. The rear antenna still doesn"t work, as the prior owner stated, I am sure its a simple gear to fix, but I just pulled it up and down when radio was needed. As seen in one of the pics, this is only one small rip in dash on passenger side, rest of dash pristine, I bought a dash cover I use now to protect dash when it is in sun. I keep the car in the garage. As stated by previous owner the driver side rear window needs help to get up and down, I just never bothered with the regulator, so its still needs help if you want to move it up or down. A little steam and glue to fixt the interior on the a pillar near the roof, but it never bothered me that much, besides that interior is MB tex and in great shape. I have over maintained this car as long as I have had it, it was my "hobby" and I enjoyed driving it occasionally to work, or to visit friends. I am selling it as I just don"t have the time for it anymore, as I am changing jobs. This car comes with everything in pics, if you want more pics, contact me and I will email them to you. I have enjoyed this car very much and I want to make sure it continues to please whomever. Its a fantastic 1985 turbo diesel, that will give you years of service if you take care of her. Happy to talk live if you wish. I will miss her. I can keep the vehicle for up to 2 weeks, but will need new owner to come get soonest, you can drive her anywhere now.
