This 1985 Land Rover 90 is a left-hand-drive two-door example that spent time in France before it was imported to the US in 2018, and it was subsequently purchased by me the seller and refurbished. The exterior was refinished in Nissan NATO white heavy duty paint, the headliner and dashboard were recovered, the suspension, braking, and fuel system were overhauled, LED lighting and 16″ Wolf steel wheels were added, and the 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four was resealed and turbo rebuilt with upgraded turbo. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, fender flares, mud flaps, and an aftermarket steering wheel and shift knobs, while work performed during current ownership also included replacement of the clutch components, exhaust system, and windshield. This Land Rover 90 shows 204k kilometers (~127k miles) and is now offered with recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title listing the truck as a 1990 model year. The bodywork was performed and the exterior was refinished in white in 2019. Features include black bumpers and trim, body-color fender flares, and mud flaps. Billet door hinges finished in black and LED exterior lighting were installed during current ownership, and the windshield was also replaced. Steel 16″ Wolf wheels are mounted with spacers and wear 235/85 Wild Trail CTX tires, and a matching full-size spare is mounted at the rear. Maintenance since 2018 included installation of Terrafirma shocks and replacement of the springs, master cylinder, brake booster, brake pads, front rotors, and rear wheel cylinders. The cabin features original front seats upholstered in tan cloth and trimmed with brown vinyl, along with inward-facing rear seats covered in black vinyl. The dashboard was recovered and the headliner and door panels were replaced. Modifications include a Moto Lita-style steering wheel, billet shift knobs, and LED interior lighting, boost and EGT gauges and dual Cigarette lighters. The 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four was resealed in 2019, at which time the injection pump was rebuilt , Injectors overhauled and the water pump, alternator, battery, coolant hoses, and drive belts were replaced. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The pressure plate, throwout bearing, and exhaust system were replaced in 2019.
