Vehicle Details NO SMOG CONTROLS Will not pass emissions test if your state requires it. Here in Michigan not an issue. 1985 GMC C1500 Suburban. 99% rust free from Idaho. Actual mileage unknown, odometer shows 75,000, probably has rolled over. Goodwrench 350 engine, TCI Street Fighter Turbo 350 transmission, Hughes 1800 rpm stall towing convertor, stock 3.42 rear end non posi. Snow Performance Water Methanol injection. Wrapped long tube headers with full 3 inch exhaust dumping discreetly in front of rear tires. Exhaust has a total of 4 mufflers two straight through Magnaflows and two Walker QuietFlows, reasonably quiet. Vintage Air Heat and A/C, A/C has refrigerant leak never bothered to fix it just drive with windows down. Rewired bumper to bumper with Painless wiring harness. Custom Auto Sound Stereo. All four doors have been cut for custom speakers, 12 inch sub in back 600 watt Pioneer amp with thermostatically controlled cooling fan. Senior citizen owned, never abused. I have never attempted to do a burn out in it, my overall theme was to keep this truck factory stock looking and capable of towing a trailer. Some photos are kind of old, most current photos are the ones with white wagon wheels on it. 16X8 steel wheels with 245/75r16 Firestone LE2 tires less than 1500 miles on new tires. Dakota Digital cruise control. Extensive use of dynamat type sound deadened in floor, doors and under headliner. Blue paint is somewhat uneven, white is pretty good. Two row desert duty radiator with mechanical flex fan and two electric fans in front. 750 CFM Vacuum Secondary Edelbrock carb. New water pump, alternator, starter. After market extra thick front sway bar. Hydraulic steering damper. Traction Bars. Rancho front shocks. Overload rear shocks. The negative: engine leaks oil from oil pan, started when I installed Edelbrock aluminum two piece timing chain cover, I’ve pulled the oil pan about 4 times trying to fix it. Original headliner is held in p,ace with about 900 staples, doesn’t look too bad. Left front turn signal is wired up to left rear turn signal so it goes on when brakes are applied. One dime sized rust repair in rear passenger door, the inside of this door is green so it is not original to this truck. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
