| “This truck runs and drives good and has no rust issues. The 460 v8 has good compression and runs really strong.Np435 manual transmission goes into all gears well and the clutch engages as it should.Four wheel drive operates well and shifts in and out as it should. Body and frame of the truck are rust free and the truck has a very straight body with only a few small dings on back of bed corners.Interior is clean and comfortable.It has power windows and door locks and is a A/C truck but is missing the A/C compressor.In conclusion the truck runs and drives and sounds great and is at daily driver running condition. This 1985 Ford F-250 4x4 runs and drives great! It is a 1 owner truck! The truck started its life out as a 6.9 diesel and was used once a month for hauling antiques from Oregon and Washington and back to Southern Idaho. One trip back from Oregon in 2015 they started having issues with the 6.9 diesel motor. They reached out to a friend that was a mechanic and he said he had a fresh 460 he could put in for them that he was going to put in his truck. So over a weekend he installed the motor and Monday morning they hit the road back home in Idaho. Since that last trip in 2015 the husbands health issues began to set in and the truck was rarely driven and was just occasionally started and driven around their property.
There is no rust on the truck and has a super straight body.The interior is clean and comfortable. The doors, windows and tailgate operate smoothly. The 460 v8 motor is strong and sounds great, just recently drove it on a 120 mile trip and it runs out great. Classic Auto Search and Rescue LLC
