“. The car is in great condition: The fiberglass body is in excellent condition, including the hog troughs (body mounting brackets), no cracks, but the paint is only fair. There are some blisters in the paint. The interior is in good condition. The dash has been recovered, the Recaro bucket seats have no tears and look like new. The power Moon roof doesn't open, don't know why. I have the A/C compressor but it is not installed. All gauges and switches work. The engine runs very well. It has a rebuilt 400 short block and mild cam. Engine has minor oil leak.Exhaust is good. The car has a new fully programmable ECM which makes the TB injectors work perfectly. All glass is good except the windshield which has a crack. The wire wheels have a few rust spots. New tires with few miles. Suspension bushings are old but still solid. The kingpins and knuckles are tight. Fun to drive and fast.”

Vehicle description

I was 17 when the 1963 Avanti was first released, and I had to have one. I finally managed to buy a project car 7 years ago. This car is such fun to drive and work on. I almost have it in top notch shape, but unfortunately, health and finances force me to sell my baby. Where ever I go shopping, people always ask me about the car. Many younger people have never seen one. I do not race the car, but it is a fast street car. A real surprise to many Camaro and Mustang owners. Please contact me with any questions.
