Here is what the owner has to say.
"Having owned this car for over 32 years I"ve often received unsolicited compliments about it. Stopping for gas, or?, it"s not unusual for someone to walk over and make a positive comment. I even came out of a hardware store once to find a guy waiting in front of my car to ask me about it. Valets that park Ferrari, and other impressive cars, ALWAYS are amazed and comment on the condition of the "Z". The pictures with this ad were taken of the car "as is" and the car was not "detailed" other than tire dressing and now engine 6/8/17. This is how good it REALLY looks! ! The car was sold new (3/84) from a Nissan dealership in San Juan Capistrano. Due to the lady"s divorce, fairly soon after she bought it, she had to sell her car and I purchased it from her in Dec. 1985. I"ve always had it serviced at the same dealership where it was originally purchased, and the #1 TOP Nissan mechanic at the dealership, since the car was new, has been the "personal" mechanic for this car for over 32 years. He"s told me that when the car is in for service other mechanics will walk over to check it out, which by now I understand. Rarely driven in the rain (it"s been a 2nd car since I first got it), garaged, new Michelin tires, recent renewed license tags (3/2017) and passed the smog check with a new catalytic converter. Un-restored so the paint, interior, engine, etc., are original except for the front bumper which was repainted due to a mark left by a piece of tire tread that bounced off the bumper on the freeway. Runs exceptionally well, various replacements over the years such as the brake master cylinder, alternator, etc. and I have the records of ALL maintenance and repair work done on the car. Oil and service have been consistently done every 3,000 miles and any maintenance or repair issues are addressed. I have the original owner"s manual plus two service manuals, one for owners and one that is the 1984 shop mechanic"s service manual specifically for this car, as well as the original sales brochure. I also have the original window sticker that was on the car when it was purchased new, an original 1984 Nissan 300zx car cover in it"s bag (see picture of manuals, etc.), two protective bags for the T Tops when removed that are in "new" condition, the original license plates and a sun shield that I ALWAYS use whenever the car might be parked outside. The condition of the dash is proof of this! Why am I selling this exceptional car? I have 4 grandsons. Time for a bigger car which I"ve already purchased."
