Vehicle description
My father was an aeronautical engineer who loved nothing better than to work on his vintage cars on his days off. He loved the “Z” Series cars and had several in his life time. This particular car was one of my father’s favorites at the time. When he passed, my mother generously passed the car down to me. My intentions have always been to restore the car from the ground up. Time has gotten the best of me and now I find myself several years later not moving very quickly on the project! It breaks my heart to see this lovely car just sitting in the carport, so I have come to the resolution I must let it go. The car is in running condition and passed the California smog requirements on the last required registration period. Although it is in running condition, the A/C does not work, but I do have two A/C units the mechanic said would likely get it running again. There are four fairly new tires with low mileage on them, new tint to the back windows, new T-top interior window shades, owner’s manual, original cassette player (not installed), JVC radio in place, a front end bra available, spare dash, hood emblem, and multiple other spare parts my father had collected. My hope is to transfer owner ship of this exquisite vintage “Z” 2 + 2 to a new owner who will potentially enjoy it as much as my father had. Granted this car has been in the carport for a lengthy amount of time and only driven on the weekends, so it is not in flawless condition. It will make a great project/restoration car for someone. These cars in restored condition seemly retain their value. This car is being sold as is, all new smog requirements and pickup/delivery of the vehicle after the sale is completed, is the responsibility of the new owner/buyer.
