This 2 owner 1983 Land Cruiser FJ45 Troopy is being offered for sale as a pristine example of the popular Toyota 4X4 with matching numbers and factory overdrive. Before being purchased through Barrett Jacksons several years ago by a Land cruiser collector, it underwent a full frame off, Nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration with no expense spared at House of Cruisers in Miami, Florida.
It runs and drives well, as the original 4230cc inline 6 cylinder 2F engine was fully restored to the original specifications and is backed by the factory 4 speed manual transmission. This FJ45 is equipped with an OEM power steering system, new factory exhaust and OEM Japanese Axles that have been fully serviced and resealed. The front disc and rear drum brakes were fully rebuilt and for suspension it rides on an Old Man Emu system. It currently rolls on OEM Toyota wheels with OEM hubcaps that are wrapped in low mile Toyo MT Tires.
Inside, it received a new OEM replica brown upholstery, custom made floor mats, a Nostalgic Air A/C and heater system, new seat belts, and a new custom Auto-sound retro stereo system. It also includes the original owners manual and tool set.
