We have for auction today our all original 1983 Subaru Brat 4x4. This Brat has been stored indoors since 2014. I have the clean California title in hand.
The original engine sounds great and has always been elderly adult driven and well maintained. Transmission shifts smooth and 4x4 works great but has been barely used. Tires are about 80% tread. I have videos of the Brat running and driving if anybody would like me to send it, just ask with an email to send to.
Cosmetically, this Brat has the original paint but it is faded and not perfect, there are some minor "dings" and small dent behind left corner light (see close up pics of flaws). All four wheels need to be polished out. No previous body repairs noted. All glass is clean and clear and has nice t-tops. This Subaru has always been stored indoors in the desert climate, it is very well preserved and free of any rust. Original seats still in bed! This is rare for any of these as most had been removed when the laws changed here.
Interior is all there, clean and factory original, it is exceptionally good for the year. There is a little bit of wear and tear on the left side driver side seat back otherwise it is near perfect.
This Subaru is stored in Moreno Valley California, 92551 near March Air Base.
