Vehicle description

Up for auction again. EBay pulled the last one because according to them the car had / has a branded title. I really don"t see how that makes a difference either way because as I explained in my last ad, I lost the title. I bought the car roughly 15 years ago and I know I still had the title about five years ago because I was going to sell it then. Unfortunately I lost the title. And while I have always kept the car insured, and it still is currently, I never got around to flipping the car into my name. In addition, the guy I bought it from did the same. He sold it to me without ever having transfered it into his name. He does not remember who he bought it from and I have no idea. What I do know is you can either buy the car on a bill of sale, which I will be happy to sign, and use it for parts; or you can use on of those title services here on the web, pay the $500 +/- and get a new title in your name. Both me and him could swear the original title was a clear title, not sure if that means anything at this point. But if anyone out ther could run this VIN and get back to me know if it is clear or branded, I would sure appreciate it and will post the results here In any event I drove the car around on my buddies dealer plate for about five years. The I went up a steep driveway and ripped the rubber chin off the front vallance. I ordered a new one for around $500 and went about taking the power window switches out to replace them. Over the next month or two, the switches and chin arrived and I tossed them in (Not on) the car. And it has just sat like that for the past 5 years. The sun has faded the paint on the roof and hood, as you can see in the last few pics. A couple of years ago I went to start her up but obviously the battery was stone cold dead. I went and bought one and the car started up fine with starting fluid but would soon stall out. I did this a couple of times and then gave up. My buddy tells me the gas is shot. Need to drain the tank and get some fresh gas in her. I understand that is a real pain in the *&s. In any event, The first 12 or so pics are about 5 years old. I just went over yesterday, pulled the car out of it"s spot and pulled it up the driveway and took a bunch of new pics, as is. I did not even hose the car off. It"s way to cold to be messing with a hose right now. THE PICTURES: The First 7 pictures are from when IU was selling it about five years ago. The rest were taken over the last several days. It has just been sitting, unfortunately, on my paved driveway outside my house. Just did not have room inside. As you may have figured by now, the battery still looks brand spankin new; but is dead as dead can get. I plan on getting a new one later today just to make sure she still turns over fine. I have no intention of draining the gas though. I"m leaving that for the next owner. As with most of my auctions, this is an absolute auction. That means no reserve price. The high bidder at the end of the auction is the winner regardless of price. Remember this when placing your bid. Be sure that you have the funds available, all questions and concerns answered thoroughly, and all permissions you may need from your mom, wife, or SO prior to bidding. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end and payment in full within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for all pick up or shipping arrangements. Other than that, I will assist your shipper in loading of the vehicle in any way I can but all other aspects of transport are 100% the responsibility of the buyer. So in closing, good luck to all of you. Bid high and bid often. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
