1983 Mini Mark 2 passenger sports car Factory built by: Bremen Sport, Bremen, Indiana Volkswagen 1600cc engine with twin carburetors 4 Speed Manual Transmission Factory Air Conditioning - I have never needed to use the air conditioner in my Mini Mark. For that reason, I am uncertain whether it was ever converted from R-12 to R134A.
Removable Factory Hardtop with interior lighting in both rear corners. I have never removed the hardtop. Please note the aluminum top bows leaning against the right side of my Mini Mark. Factory Convertible Top - I"m unaware of its condition, as I never used it.
Twin horns - They have never been as loud as they should be.
Two separate sets of side curtains: A. The material is the same as the rear windows of older convertible tops and is in excellent condition. B. New lucite windows, as photographed, are in pristine condition. Listening Pleasure: JVC KD-S38/KD-S28 AM-FM CD with JVC Remote RM-RK52 Enormous front trunk opens on both sides of my Mini Mark. Tires: Sigma Sceptor Whitewalls P195/75R14 M+S - They are nearly new with very low miles. Original Color Sales Brochure - "A New Breed of Classic - Mini Mark" No warranty is expressed or implied. Odometer Mileage: The odometer reads 12,551.6 (twelve thousand five hundred fifty-one and six-tenths miles.) Those are the precise actual miles.
According to the Ohio BMV (Bureau of Motor Vehicles), following are the dates of title changes and actual miles. 08-09-1995 7,998 This was the date and the mileage at the estate sale after the original owner died. 06-24-2002 - 8,619 01-19-2010 - 8,657.1 09-25-2010 - 8,657.6 10-05-2011 - 8,762.4 05-22-2015 - 12,519 Date Ohio title was put in my name.
Every Mini Mark was sold new with deep dish chrome wheels and wire wheel covers. When I purchased my Mini Mark, the four wire wheel covers were inside one box. I have called Dayton Wire Wheels, Empi, Hubcap Mike and J.C. Whitney. No one knows anything about the brand of the "center caps" that were used.
The new owner will receive the four wire wheel covers in that same box. In the photos, I have placed the wire wheel covers over the hubs at the center of the deep dish chrome wheels to highlight how the wheels will look when the wire wheel covers are installed.
The tachometer was not working when I purchased my Mini Mark in May 2015. I have never addressed the repair because it doesn"t change the car"s performance.

I have owned Corvettes, an Avanti II and two Studebaker Avantis. There has never been a factory built car with fiberglass the quality and thickness of a Mini Mark.
Quoting from the Original Color Sales Brochure - "A New Breed of Classic - Mini Mark" "One piece fiberglass body The Mini Mark"s completely hand built fiberglass body averages 1/4" to 5/16" in thickness throughout. This added body ply is stronger than the hulls of expensive yachts and 3 to 4 times thicker than the leading domestically produced sports car. This point is dramatically illustrated by the drawing left. The additional thickness offers a safer, more solid ride than ever before available with a car of this type. But that"s not all, the Mini Mark has a deep, rich finish because it"s applied as a polyester gel coat impregnated into the body material itself. This method of finishing a car is four to five times more durable than ordinary automotive paint jobs, plus all the exterior surfaces are totally colored, making the car impervious to harsh road chemicals and salts."
