For sale is a 1983 C10 Scottsdale 6.2 diesel I am the 3rd owner, the first a father then his son
This truck is in very nice, mostly original shape! The black paint is all original, with the silver resprayed at some point. The bed is in immaculate shape for a truck this year, with only a couple small dings in the floor, none in the tailgate, sides or head panel! The truck had a classic camper and very thick bed mat in it since new. The camper conveys with the sale if the buyer would like it! (Shown in last picture) This truck is the nicest driving old truck I"ve ever owned. It has no play in the steering wheel, drive smooth and quiet and has great power/torque with the 6.2. This 6.2 runs strong and is no dog. It has a 700r4 and a 3.73 rear gear and cruises highway speeds great. It stops very hard.
This truck has spent most of it"s life in the high desert and therefor has very little rust. There is one spot on the driver bed behind the wheel, everywhere else is very clean.
New parts include: Injectors, injection pump, shocks, tires, brake pads, high torque starter from a 6.5 and more I am probably forgetting.
