FOR SALE: 1982 Westy
Very good to excellent condition on interior and exterior. No rust or collision damage. 81,379 miles. I have service records from previous owner and myself. Engine is original and running great. Please see the many items below for repairs and additions to the van.
-Previous owner- engine overhaul at 73,000 miles- $5300 in repairs to cylinder head, new valves, rings, new clutch, rear main seal, main shaft seal-This was all done in August 2011
-Previous owner- 2014- New injectors, front ball joints, fuel line hoses, intake boot, mass air flow meter, and window tint. $3,000 in repairs.
My repairs and additions: I purchased van in Oct. 2014.
-New hand brake cable -New LED exterior kit -New turn signal relay -New horn -New wiper/washer switch -New blinker switch -New lock cylinder for ignition -New rear hatch struts -Vano-Swing arm -Vano-spare tire carrier -New Shurflo faucet kit -New galley water pump -New fridge elimination kit -New plate steel bumpers with hitch -Gasket work -valve cover and sump -New climate control cables -New tail pipe -New ignition rotor -New fuel filter -New accelerator cable -New auxillary power outlet -New tent top -New front brake kit-rotors, calipers, pads, lines-June 2020 -New rear brake kit-drums, back plates, lines-June 2020
I purchased parts thru VanCafe and GoWesty, and used local dealer and mechanic for repairs. Most recent were all new brakes as noted above. As you can see the engine has had extensive previous work, and I have added many new items as well. It really runs great. Take a look at the photos and ask me any questions.
