1970 Volkswagen Type 2 Bay Window Bus
Garaged and driven on occasion over the past 10 years, the time has come to sell our awesome 1970 VW Bus. The bus has been in our family for many years(purchased from my father-in-law) and can be a daily driver or a very clean and solid vehicle to restore. It was originally purchased in Seattle Washington, made its way to the Oregon Desert(Maupin) for many years, and has been in Portland for the past 7 years.
Body is super clean except for dent in front driver door and small dent at right back bumper. Interior needs restored, but is very clean and cosmetic only. Has normal very light surface rust on parts of floorboard(clean underneath vehicle no rust can send pictures) and small amounts at bottom of front window seal. Bus has rebuilt motor(done before we owned, no paperwork) with dual carbs and runs very strong.
Other work completed includes all new front end suspension(vehicle sits slightly higher up front due to this), new clutch cable, plugs, and tuneup done recently. Includes cargo rack.
