| “This north Texas truck is a rare find in totally original condition. It came to Iowa when I bought it 10 years ago and drove it to car shows and occasionally on weekends. I have always kept in temperature controlled garage. Prior owner towed it behind a motorhome so the engine miles are substantially below the odometer miles. There is a tow bar with substantial attachments and wiring for direct hookup to tow vehicle wiring.The overall condition is outstanding for a 38 year old truck - even the bed is as though it were never used but for one dent on left side.Runs like a top (well, diesel top) and drives well. I wouldn’t be at all afraid to leave for the coast today.It is all original, right down to the VW radio!Remember “You can restore them many times, but they are original once”” |
