Vehicle description
Selling this clean 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit truck. I started with a perfect, rust free body and had it repainted in the original LE9C Cashmere white. The bed was painted in black rhino bed liner paint. The truck body has 111,300 miles and is powered by a 1983 GTI motor that had approximately 53,000 miles on it. The transmission is also from the GTI - a close ratio 5-speed. The wheels are reconditioned “snowflakes” with new 195-60-14 tires. The rear bumper was powder coated in matte silver. The interior is outfitted with a crack free GTI dash and the matching center console and shift boot. The seats are in excellent condition - as pictured and it also has new custom floor mats. The bedliner mat is also new.The headliner was also replaced. The radiator is new as are the struts, strut mounts, brake cables and shifter bushings. The a/c was converted to 134r and blows Ice cold. This is not a “project”. Everything works as it should including all gauges, lights and stereo. I would drive this truck anywhere - it starts instantly, runs, shifts and drives excellent. I was planning to keep it to promote my VW restoration business but have too many projects and need the room!
