Vehicle description
WV Wolkswagon Westfalia 1980 Bus Pop Up Camper in excellent condition with 112,000 miles. Clean title. Original owner"s manual.
This is a rare find to be in such a good condition. Highly sought after bus and I hate to part with it, but it"s time.
It"s located in Windsor, Wisconsin.
Manual, 2 wheel drive - rear, 4 cylinder.
Dometic furnace operated with a thermostat, a huge plus.
I"m the second owner, no accidents. First owner purchased it in San Francisco, an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright. Used only for occasional recreation/ camping, mainly highway miles. Stored to protect from elements,
Body mostly free of rust, only one small rust spot, see photos.
Rebuilt engine, new heads (less than 3,000 miles), very good engine, will exceed 70+ miles an hour.
Very good tires and brakes, new brake lines.
Brand new canvas 3 window top. Comes with a bra.
Interior almost in mint condition. All original curtains. Seats have always been covered. Very minor imperfections such as paper headliner above rear seat can be glued back or replaced. Needs sliding door panel.
It has a propane system stove, in perfect condition, propane tank was sandblasted, has held gas for over 5 years.
Everything inside works great, working fridge, complete with interior accessories, both tables (front and rear), cassette deck, nothing missing.
Painted green, could use new paint job but saving that for the new owner so you can custom paint it any color you"d like.
Could use new exhaust. Has an oil leak.
Overall it"s in an very good condition for a solid engine, many more years, miles and memories to make!
