1982 Chevrolet Blazer Factory 2 Wheel Drive Last year of the full size 2 wheel drive Blazer
This Blazer is a 1982 and has a 350 TBI motor with 700R4 Transmission. I took everything out of a 1990 Chevrolet Blazer 4x4 and used it to make this Blazer a 350 TBI. The 1990 Chevrolet Blazer"s Cluster shows 118346 miles and was installed on this truck. Everything was removed from the 90 and outfitted to the 82. All the wiring harness, gauge cluster, motor, fuel lines, fuel tank, Fuel pump assembly, ETC. Were used from the 1990. This Truck has had a lot of work done and drives great. The 700R4 Transmission was removed from the 1990 and rebuilt, and the rear output shaft was changed to accept the 2wd shaft. It is a VSS Cluster and transmission so It does have a speed sensor in the transmission. Blazer has Power steering, Power brakes, Power windows, Power Locks, Tilt Column, Cd Player, Bluetooth, Manual Tailgate Window, Privacy Tint, Sliding Rear windows, and Removable rear top.
The Truck was lowered 5" in the front and 6" in the rear. The front features CPP Tubular Upper and lower a arms, 2.5" Drop Spindles, 2.5" Dropped Coil Springs, Bell Tech Front Shocks, New Front Rotors, Bearings, Calipers, and Performance Friction brake pads. New Inner and outer tie rods, The rear features a flip kit that allowed the 6" Drop, New Monroe Air Shocks, Bell Tech Rear Shock Extensions, and Energy Suspension Bump Stops. Front Boss Wheels are 20"x8.5" 275/35/R20 and the rears are 20"x10" with a 305/35/R20 tire. Tires are Mickey Thompson Street Comps
The Engine has a new Distributor, Water pump, Plug Wires, Plugs, 2.5" Exhuast without Catalytic Convertor (I"M IN A NON SMOG COUNTY) Raptor Muffler, Starter, 350 Amp Power service Alternator, Odyssey 1000 CCA Battery, Upgraded Battery Cables and Grounds. New 32 Gallon Gas Tank with new AcDelco intank pump and sender. Open 14" chrome air cleaner with K&N Filter
The interior was completely redone, Top to bottom. Front seats are Procar 1400 series seats that slide and recline. The rear seat was cut down 1" and redone in Grey Leather, The side panels were down in the same grey leather and grey velour to match the door panel inserts. New Velour Headliner, New Seat belt"s Front and rear, the Dashboard is grey and has new gauge cluster Bezel, Dash mat and Dash insert. Grant Steering Wheel, Limo Tint all around, Windshield has 50% Tint. Alpine CD Player/ Blue Tooth, with 6.5" Kick Panel Speakers, 6"x9" Rear Speakers ran by an Alpine 400 Watt Amp. Rear Subs are in a custom made box with 2 12" Skar Audio EVL-12 Subwoofers ran by 2 Skar audio RP Series Amps all professionally installed. This thing has major bass!
The Body was completely take down and blocked to accept the PPG Aztec Gold paint and Clear, The rear top was painted in a PPG Off White with gold pearl and matte Clear. This is a Native Nevada truck so rust was not an issue. All weatherstripping is brand new from Precision Rubber Products. Has custom pin stripping on hood and rear tailgate. Front Headlights were modified to a 90"s GM Composite Light for a newer look front end. All other lenses were also replaced. Truck has under glow lights on the chassis and rear amp rack. Floor was coated with POR-15 and undercarriage was sprayed with rubberized undercoating.
The Transmission is a rebuilt 1990 700R4, with electric speed sensor in the tail shaft housing. Both u-joints were replaced on the drive line.
The Truck runs and drives great, I drive it everywhere without issues. Has some very minor imperfections. Small Scratch on the lower rear quarter panel, missing one rear window latch, passenger window slow to roll up. I"m sure there is other items but this is what comes to mind. Has Clean Nevada Title in my name. Buyer Arranges all shipping, Truck as-is where is with no warranty. I can drive it to any shop if you would like to have an inspection done.
