Vehicle description
Purchased in the Seattle area in early July of 2018 and driven to Miami FL via a roundabout route on and off interstates through WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, TX, LA, GA, and FL, and including desert and mountain driving. A couple of problems which had not been noticed by the previous owner turned up on the trip, and I had them fixed (replaced clutch slave cylinder, replaced starter). Aside from those the van performed beautifully overall, was very comfortable both for driving and sleeping, and has worked well as a daily driver in the Miami area since. It doesn"t really fit my current needs, though.
The van has a sink, a refrigerator a two burner propane stove, and hookups for water and power. The last time I checked, the NADA Guide web page at https:/ www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1981/Volkswagen/Transporter-Type-II/Campmobile/Values listed the average retail for this year and model van in my Florida zip code at $15,100, and high retail at $29,600. The van is currently located in the Miami area and still titled and registered in Washington state. At the buyer"s option, I will re-register it in Florida.
