Vehicle description

1981 Fiat X-1/9 1.5L Fuel Injected 4cyl
The car has just over 114,000 miles, and much has been done in the way of recent maintenance and care.
It starts immediately, the first time you turn the key and idles no problem. The volt gauge shows alternator is charging the battery. I installed a brand new aluminum two-core radiator with twin 8" electric fans wired to a switch I mounted on the center console. Hit some traffic, flip the switch. All coolant hoses were replaced at the same time as radiator, roughly 1k miles ago. Water pump and thermostat were done in the last 10k miles. Tires, brake rotors, calipers, pads, and seals were replaced in last 10k miles. Clutch slave cylinder was replaced 2k miles ago. The clutch engagement feels like new. No slip, no drama, no "air in the system" feeling. Brakes are also very strong with a positive pedal feeling and no diving left or right. Naturally, the clutch/brake reservoir and cooling systems were completely flushed and bled at the time of the services. New air filter, fuel pump and fuel filter less than 1k miles ago. I cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body at the same time. Oil and oil filter were done last weekend. If I let the car sit parked for about a week, there might be one or two drops of oil on the ground, otherwise, no other leaks of any kind. All lights work great, as do wipers, radio/stereo system, HVAC controls, electric windows and all, all function with no problems. The car did not come with A/C. No cracks in windshield or any glass. The handbrake works and holds the car on a reasonable incline. All gears engage and disengage without issue. Reverse sometimes takes more than one try to engage, but always does. Steering tracks straight and true with no vibrations at any speed.
This car can absolutely be driven on a daily basis. It was my only car for a long time, so it was my main means of transportation. Until recently, I was using it to commute to and from work very happily and with no issues.
Honestly, the biggest issue with the car is that the tachometer does not work. All other gauges and dash lights do work. The only other problems besides that are that the driver"s seat cushion is separating at the seam (easily fixed), the ignition is wired to an aftermarket lock cylinder, and the Veglia digital clock neither keeps time very well nor has all working pixels. The car was repainted the "Ferrari red" color it is currently some time before my ownership. It has a few knicks in the paint and a dent on the nose, but it is still very presentable with no fading. There are a couple of areas with some rust bubbles under the paint and another area near the rear bumper, but the underside of the car looks absolutely fantastic and there is no structural rust. The top comes off and stows in the "frunk". There is actually a surprising amount of luggage space in the trunk and frunk combined, easily enough for a large grocery shopping trip (ask me how I know).
The car has a full-size Pirelli spare tire behind the passenger seat. I will include a car cover which I use anytime I do not plan to drive it for more than four or five days. I will also include two shop manuals, parts catalogues and other literature.
I feel I have been reasonably thorough, but feel free to ask questions. Happy bidding.
