Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1980 Porsche 928 S is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller"s Notes Don’t be afraid to open your wallet if you’re not going to get your hands dirty with this one! Vehicle Details Up for auction is a 1982 Porsche 928 Euro S with a 5 Speed Manual NOT AUTOMATIC! Can’t list it due to the EURO vin as a 1982. Very rare Grey Market Car with the correct numbers matching original 4.7L 300HP EURO S motor and Euro Rear Bumper which is very rare for these imports! Clearly the Car needs a Restoration but is absolutely the perfect candidate. This is my third 928 Euro but first S. Really wanted to do this project as you can see from all the parts I bought but it’s just sat for too long and want to see someone else do it over the upcoming winter and take it out come spring! Don’t know much about the history other than I do have a clean title to the car and it hasn’t been taken apart yet because when I take something apart I put it back together! Came to me with the fuel tank out. I bought almost all the parts from 928 International. New Short throw shifter and all shift bushings, Correct timing belt, water pump, factory rollers, stainless brake lines, used caliper since they don’t make new ones anymore and it’s missing one, used battery box since there is a small rust hole in it. New front and rear hood struts. New trunk seal. New Brake Master, New Clutch Master, New Brake Booster, New Clutch Slave and new line, new pads all corners, new plugs, distributor cap, new wires, fuel distributor rebuild kit, new little green wire (common ignition failure item). New silicone coolant hoses in blue. Only other structural rust that I don’t have the replacement for is pictured where the radiator support is. Floors and rockers and rock solid! ! I have the number to a 928 boneyard local to New England that I can give to the new owner if they want to source that or anything else like a full interior. The rest is surface rust that can be easily sanded down before you repaint it. The interior looks to be all there. You get all the parts pictured and any that I have that aren’t in the photo. Took a lot of time going over the car and picking out the right parts to fix it. Problem is that it’s sat for a year and haven’t been able to do a thing to it. You will need to buy a new positive battery cable. I didn’t purchase that yet wasn’t sure if I was going to do a custom or buy new. New fuel pumps will come installed in the tank that has been removed and cleaned. Have the new proper lines for it. Have a dash cover not pictured. Please don’t bid if you don’t plan on paying. Car needs to be paid for in full within 7 days and towed out within 30. If it doesn’t hit the reserve (it’s the price I paid plus 25% of what I paid for the parts) the parts will be installed and it will be sold running and driving. I can also drop it off with the parts at one of the many local Porsche speciality shops for it to be finished for the new owner. If you want concours there is one shop. You want just the parts installed you’ll do interior and body I know another shop. Feel free to ask any and all questions just want this going to a good home too many cars here for it to get the attention it deserves! Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
