Vehicle description
For sale is this 1980 Pontiac Firebird Formula. It has the turbocharged 4.9 liter engine and TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. The vehicle VIN code is 2V87TAN133092. This is a PROJECT CAR. The paint is gorgeous candy red/metallic green 2 tone and has a few chips here and there, but I could not find any dings. Body panels have been repaired. Some floor panels have been replaced. Engine runs nicely, but needs new head gasket. At a minimum, the driver side frame rail needs replaced, but both frame rails should be replaced. Section of trunk has rust hole and needs replaced. Needs some minor electrical work. Transmission works, but needs a few seconds to go into reverse after engine is started. Has a new upgraded camshaft, carburetor, radiator, and CD ignition. This vehicle has been garaged for 10 years. To my recollection, the head gasket was not blown when the vehicle was put into storage. This would make a fine project car for someone with the tools, talent, and time for it.
