1979 Land Rover Series-III 88" Santana
2.25L 4-Cylinder Rover diesel / 4-speed manual transmission. Includes both hard top and soft top. Factory overdrive, Warn front locking hubs added. Seating for seven; seatbelts added in the rear.

Driveline : 2.25L Rover 4-cylinder diesel, married to a four-speed manual transmission and overdrive. High-low transfer case, and Warn locking front hubs. Overdrive helps propel the truck north of 55mph on flat surfaces with the diesel powerplant. Engine is a hard cold start, and may be a glow-plug issue, but once running maintains it’s idle and will re-start easily while warm. Exterior : The truck is finished in Bronze green paint under a white roof with blacked out wheels and BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires. With a matching black grill, the only sign of this truck sliding through the woods would be the thin white roof winding it’s way through the trees. Sliding vertical windows lock on driver and passenger door, and front doors lock. Comes with both hard-top pictured and an olive green canvas roof as well. Interior : Very original and complete, the black vinyl seats support roof enough for seven. We helped install seatbelts to make sure everyone would be strapped down as the truck bounced along the country roads. Headliner and interior all present, though with a tear in the headliner above the passenger and some tears in the vinyl of the original folding seats. Truck conveys with clear VA title.
