Selling my 1979 International Harvester Scout II for the right price. You can"t find another one this nice in the Midwest! Runs and drives awesome, completely reliable and fun to drive! Motor trans and clutch all rebuilt less than 10k miles. Originally an Arizona Truck, title transferred to Colorado where I purchased and saved it to Illinois. there was some minor surface rust that was mostly cut out and replaced before I purchased the vehicle. The floors were replaced but doors and rockers are original and completely rust free. original body mounts have some rust but with the new lift, the original front body mounts are not in use. A couple of small bubbles on the quarter and front fender. The float on the gas tank is stuck at 3/4, other than that everything works from windshield wipers, cigarette lighters, tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauge, volt gauge, water temp gauge all functional including the lights behind all the new autometer gauges. All external lights, and indicator lights work. Turn signals works and clicks back after turning. Former owner told me the engine, trans and clutch were all rebuilt less than 10K miles ago when they did a restoration to it. I do not have receipts for this claim but I believe after driving the truck for the last two years that it is true. 4 wheel drive works great, new front locking hubs that turn freely. I replaced almost every rubber seal in the truck,including all the window seals and removable top seals. Brand new bikini top, new halogen lights up front. New JVC CD player, and alpine rear speakers with Boss front tweeters. Custom new dashboard, actually entire interior is brand new. original rear seat with brand new custom hounds-tooth pattern.
