OK so my wife said it is time to sell. Actually she didn"t put it in quite those polite terms. I just turned 78 several weeks ago and she is correct, time to sell because I know that if something happens to me she will put this Ranchero, my Corvair Convertible and my Chrysler TC with 10,000 miles out front with a big "Free" sign. Then again it WAS me who said "yes" to better or for worse many years ago.
So, Ford had an idea for farmers in 1957, an automobile you could have a comfortable ride in with your wife, your girl friend, your friend"s wife, who cares (one at a time naturally) and still have room in the back for hay, your mother-in-law, whatever. So, they made them from 1957 to 1979. This 1979 Ranchero is last year the Ranchero was produced. I am second owner, car has 35,100 miles and is original throughout. Has the 5.0 Litre V-8, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, etc. Car runs fine. I just don"t drive it much although when I do it gets a lot of attention. Interior is in excellent shape as are tires, rims, etc. I have set a low reserve on this as it is not about money. Would like someone to enjoy it.
