1979 Ferrari 308 GTS - Serial Number: 30585 - Manufactured in December of 1979 (last year of the carburated 308s) - Original Nero paint (paint is crazing which is a known factory defect), there are also a few small chips. - 42,022 miles as of July 9,2019 - 14,000 miles since complete engine rebuild (see details below and paper documentation/receipts) - Original Red Leather interior (one minor tear in drivers seat, expected wear) - Original owners manual and manual pouch - Original tool kit including light - Original 14" wheels with Yokohama tires included (205 front and rear) - Full size spare tire on original 14" wheel - 16" BBS RS1s modular wheels (period correct), Dunlop Direzza Sport ZII Star (225 rear, 205 front) with plenty of tread - Complete engine rebuild at 28,xxx miles - includes strait boring of cams and crank - all new alloy valves - new clutch - carburetors rebuilt and re-jetted - All hoses replaced (coolant, fuel, etc) - All work performed by a recognized and respected Ferrari and 308 expert - see paper documentation for additional details - Electromotive XDi electronic direct fire ignition (original distributors are included) - Tubi exhaust (original exhaust is included) - Alpine speakers - JVC DIN size stereo (original Blaupunkt cassette included) - New trunk cover (have original with broken zipper) - Custom aluminum rear valance to replace the "diaper", more of a Euro look - Trunk/engine struts rebuilt - All shock absorbers rebuilt in 2013 (front) and 2014 (rear) - Steering rack rebuilt in 2014 using bronze olite bushing - Hill Engineering clutch brake, and accelerator pedals - Front bumper pushed in to improve appearance (original bumper struts included) - Recent (May 2019) Major Service including belts and bearings - All original parts and spares are included in the sale - Distributors, air pump, exhaust, diaper, front bumper struts - All maintenance records since 2011 and the complete engine rebuild - Summary: This 308 is a reliable well running car that only requires routine mechanical maintenance for years to come.
