1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Chevy V8 Conversion Rare 1 of 8,858 Classic White / Black - Fun Ride
Collectors FJ40 4x4 Bikini Top included Lots of extras VIN # FJ402G0824 I am selling this vehicle for a friend of mine. He bought this FJ40 several years back and doesn’t get to drive it enough, so now its up for sale. My friend purchased the vehicle in 2018 from a work colleague, who bought it in 2015. The vehicle has been kept up with regular maintenance - oil changes etc. The spark plugs were replaced in 2017. Alternator and starter replaced in 2017. Brake shoes, disc rotors, calipers replaced in 2019. These Land Cruisers are now very collectable and increasing in value every day. Fun ride to jump in on the weekend on the beach or the local car show. The early 4x4 Land Cruisers have classic body lines and this one has just the right stance. This is a mix of original and modified. It has had a later model Chevy V8 conversion and has an HEI distributer, aluminum intake, 4bbl carburetor, power steering, aluminum radiator, dual exhaust, polished headers, Gibson stainless steel exhaust tips, custom seats, GT steering wheel, Sunpro Tach, Sunpro center gauge cluster, Road Country shocks on all fours and aftermarket stereo with 6x9s in the back and Tuffy center console with lock. The FJ has a nice full roll bar and comes with the bikini top and removable side doors as shown mounted on the vehicle. Tires are Super Swamper 35” with custom rims. The odometer shows 69,309 miles, not sure if actual or not. The FJ40 has nice add-ons like the push bar in front, step bar out back and KC lights mounted to the front bumper - and a pair of lights under the front bumper as well.
