Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Awesome Datsun 280Z powered with a 5.7 V8 LT1 engine. It has a TH400 transmission that was recently rebuilt two months ago after the 4L60E transmission failed so the car had to be towed from my driveway to a local transmission shop for replacement, see cool picture with the car getting loaded on tow truck. I was told by its previous owner that this engine had been overhauled not long ago but I have no way to verify that. The engine seems to be running with plenty of power and sounds solid so I'm sure it was refreshed at some point. This car is fast with its current set up since it's so lightweight for this engine. It has a clear Texas title under my name but does not have current inspection or tags in order to drive it on public roads. The only gauges currently working on the car are the oil pressure, tachometer and temperature gauges. Turn signal, headlight and windshield wiper switches still need to be wired up, it does not have a factory fuel level gauge, brake lights do work. It appears to have a complete a/c system and previous owner told me that it was working but had a slow freon leak. The floor pans appear to have had some light patching done at some point but still feel solid. The driver's side door has some superficial rust, as well as the passenger's side fender, rear hatch lid and around both rear quarter glass. I would not consider the car a rust bucket and I was told this car has spent most of its life in Texas but just want to be honest about the affected areas, please see provided pictures. As sen in pictures, the interior still needs work and a lot of the wiring hanging under the dash could probably be tucked away or deleted to make the interior more appealing, I just never got around it. I have the carpet but it's not in pristine shape but could still be used, I will be happy to assist buyer with shipping as long as the car is fully paid for according to auction terms and the shipping charges/arrangements are handled/covered by buyer and the car is picked up at its current location (zip code 78550).
