Relisting this 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider due to an unresponsive buyer.This Spider is extremely solid and ready for the next owner to finish a few things to make it a great driver. This is a project car and is not currently running, however it comes with all the ignition parts needed to get it cruising down the road. Car has new alternator, battery, all new fuel filters (including the Spica pump filter), new plugs, replacement wires, new rear exhaust, newer carpets installed. New speedo cable, electronic distributor, exhaust hangers also included (not installed). The car has a Marelli Plex ignition, however after 30+ years of service on the car it needs replacement. Currently the car has no spark. The electronic distributor (an ID405 from Centerline) that comes with the car as a replacement for the Marelli Plex will fix the spark issue. The interior is very presentable and in nice shape, new carpets, nice door panels etc. .car needs a new rear plastic window on the top, the top frame and bows are in excellent shape. Body wise the car is very very solid. There is a spot of rust bubbles on the front passenger quarter panel (see photos), and the spare tire well in the trunk needs a patch. The floor pans are solid as is the rest of the car. The spider needs brake pads and rotors, and some general fine tuning to get it back on the road. This is a great car that needs someone to finish it. I will include 1 spare engine (block, head, oil pan, crank, and pistons) and other misc parts with the sale of the car. There is no warranty expressed or implied. It will be sold with a bill of sale as Maine does not require titles over 25 years.
