Vehicle description
136hp and 144ft-lbs at the rear wheels! This is more than 33% increase over stock & can be improved! This car was professionally built specifically to be turbo charged but I’ve lost interest in it. It is ready to get in and drive anywhere. It runs strong with no surprises. The cam and exhaust do a great job letting everyone know this is no stock Alfa. In the last 5000 miles: The engine & transmission were rebuilt, new clutch, bulletproof clutch pedal shaft upgrade, MegaSquirt 100% fully tunable/programmable ignition and fuel management computer replaced the factory ones (factory ECU"s can not be re-programmed), performance camshaft, minor head polishing (these are factory Hemi"s), lower compression pistons to optimize a forced induction like turbocharging, MSD ignition, Datsun 280Z Turbo fuel injectors to accommodate forced induction, 4-2-1 header with Borla race muffler, new fuel pumps, new hydraulic cylinders, radiator refurbish, Enkei mag wheels, Toyo Proxes 205/50R16 tires, Momo steering wheel, re-lined fuel tank, new fuel sender, new convertible top, & Dynotune switch controlling a Holley wet Nitrous Oxide system were all professionally installed. When armed, the nitrous comes on at 3000 rpm at wide open throttle. The dyno sheet shows the actual rear wheel numbers: 101hp / 102 ft-lbs without nitrous and 136hp / 144 ft-lbs with the nitrous. I think looking at the curves, there is still room to improve these numbers and that was the plan till I just lost interest. I still have the brand new turbo that I planned to install so you are welcome to it also. It’s definitely a one of a kind performer and could be much more with just a bit more effort. This car is not to be taken lightly as it will spin the tires and definitely goes like hell! Lot"s of $ invested in this car. Expect a 30yr old Alfa that has been enjoyed but well maintained. Gauges work except the Tach & odometer which are iffy. The transmission is newly rebuilt but they still crunch if you slam the gears. Has some rust and other imperfections as one would expect but the only 2 rust concerns of mine are the spare tire holder (I rigged it with wire to hold up the spare) and a hole in the driver’s side rail – see pictures. The brakes are pulling a bit to the right under hard load but otherwise work fine. It looks & goes good but does show it’s age. Don’t expect a trailer queen. It is a driver and super fun at that function. Please get familiar with your local laws because the modifications I’ve done to this car may not pass their licensing/inspection requirements. The title is in my name & in my possession. First $7500 takes it or make me an offer. Will consider trades for a Triumph. $500 PayPal deposit within 24hrs. Balance due upon pickup.
