This is a running, driving, and stopping scout that has lots of good options and features, including: Rough country 4 inch lift leaf springs, still have the stickers on them, rancho "7000" shocks, the big 345 v-8, 4 barrel Edlebrock carburetor, performance muffler, electric fan, 4 speed manual trans, dark tinted glass, removable top, roll bar , tilt steering, power steering, rally steering wheel, cruise control, 4 wheel drive, warn locking front hubs, power brakes, , oversize custom gas tank, 33 gallon, I believe, Air conditioning, Five 18 inch custom aluminum wheels, Firestone tires are a little over 32 inches tall, custom tubular bumpers with a swing away spare tire carrier, also has a receiver hitch for towing. Scout also comes with a bikini top, not pictured. Front seats reupholstered , new carpet, new window seals in top, new door seals, original dash pad is very nice!
Previous owner had the body media blasted, any rust that was found was cut out and new metal welded in and sealed. floors and bed were rhino lined years ago.(there is a picture of floor without seats or carpet ). Recent rear wheel cylinders and drums. brakes work well, truck starts right up and runs well, good power, and sounds great, not too loud!
This truck was tagged, insured, and semi-daily driven until 2019, it was still driven/started a little since then, so it has stayed in driving shape. Tags are currently expired. Having said that, the truck is still over 40 years old, and may still need some adjusting/finishing/tinkering, It is not perfect, not a show truck, but gets plenty of attention! The A/C is missing the belt, I have not looked into it, assume it will need a service. fog lights need to be hooked up. I have not ever tried the cruise control, I assume it needs work as I believe there are hoses missing. You are bidding to OWN the scout, not the right of first refusal! If you are the high bidder at the end of the auction, you bought it! Therefore the $500 deposit through Paypal is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable.
