Vehicle description

Nice Traveler project. Very little rust. Needs completed. Will come with pictured 345 engine in bay and T19 manual trans/ dana 20 transfer case in cargo area. I"ve owned this Scout since 2007. I added parts from several Scouts, mostly Rallye stuff. It has a very hard to find 1 year only 1980 Rallye steering wheel, 5 Rallye wheels and I also have the full Rallye stripe kit and Traveler decals. The paint was done in "08 and is starting to fade a bit. A little rust in the windshield frame and passenger side long rocker. From the trim line down it is sprayed with high quality urethane bedliner. The interior is as well. ( floors, etc.) When I got the Scout, the only rust was in the rear floor. I cut out and replaced the entire rear floor with 16 guage sheet metal. It is all welded and fit is nice. Dashpad is black and not cracked. Door panels are powder coated black as well as the center console. Center console has a cupholder lid, I believe I bought it from Super Scout Specialists. All very nice. Known needs are driveline modification and/ or drivelines, extended brake lines, attn to rust areas mentioned, a bell housing for the T19 to mate to the 345.( the T19/ Dana 20 came from a good driving rusted out 1972 Scout II with 258 straight 6, so it needs the bell housing for the larger engine. The good running 258 is available as well if interested.) Most of all, it needs final assembly. There will be some small parts needed as well I"m sure, nut and bolt type of stuff. Overall, I would say this Scout is about a 7.5 out of 10 and needs to be finished up. I have not set a reserve price. I believe the market will bring the value. If you have any questions, I would be happy to talk on the phone. Just message me for my phone number. Thanks, and happy bidding. * I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally as well .
