Vehicle description

I"m selling my daily driver because I need a pickup. It is a 1977 Scout II model built on August 25, 1976. Its drivetrain is a 196 slant 4 cylinder (the right bank of a 392 v8), a Borg-Warner T19 close ratio four speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 transfer-case with Dana 44 axles that have a 4.09:1 ratio. Odometer shows just under 53,000 miles at time of listing. This particular scout had very few options, bench seat covered with vinyl, rubber floor mats, AM radio, manual locking hubs, power disc brakes, two speed transfer-case, close ratio four speed transmission, luggage rack, fuel tank skid plate, bulkhead to separate the cargo from passenger compartment, It runs good and drives me 15 miles to work and 15 miles home each day for four years now reliably while getting 15.7 MPG. I"ve recently installed new courser ltr 235/75r15 tires. The dash is very clean and original, the dash pad is not even cracked. The headliner is non-existent but the three fiber trim pieces for the top are in good shape. It is rusty like all scouts. Front center body mounts, inner and outer rocker panels, rear quarter panels and end caps, tail gate, lift gate, doors all have rust. Driver"s side front center body mount is so far gone it is making it harder to close the drivers door without some momentum. Surprisingly the windshield frame is in very good condition as is the hood.
