Vehicle description
Un-restored, mostly original car. Approximately 50% of paint is the original factory Pimento Red (bonnet, cowl, rear deck and boot lid). Approximately 50% has been re-sprayed by previous owner(s).
Some flaws such as: crazing in some areas of re-spray and poor adhesion of finish (and touch-up) on right front wing (see photo). Pinhole at bottom edge of right front wing by spoiler (see photo). Top is in good condition with clear rear and quarter window plastic (two small professional patches where top was pinched in frame). Minor oil drips when parked.
A survivor! Looks great as is or a perfect, easy candidate for a full, frame-off restoration. Solid bodywork, especially in all the usual problem areas. Upholstery, wood dash, rear carpet and door panels are original and in good condition. No cracks in vinyl around enrichment knob. Engine bay is original finish. Michelin Red Stripe tires. Drive anywhere. All part receipts included. Some of the items that have been replaced include: ball joints, front and rear suspension bushings, springs, shocks, u-joints, front wheel bearings, clutch and brake master cylinders, radiator re-cored, ring and pinion, differential mounts, rack and pinion bushings, brake pads and many small items too numerous to list.
