There is about $50,000.00 in restoration and upgrades done by Couch Off-Road Engineering, they specialize in Unimogs. Just some of the upgrades done are: Lifted cab for better cooling and clearance for Turbo, Upgraded injector pump recalibrated for 148HP, With 30 hours of work for new custom eight blade turbo compressor upgraded with custom intake and exhaust manifolds, 3” stainless custom exhaust system, Engine was removed and inspected then re-sealed, Transmission was rebuilt and problem areas where taken care of also complete new clutch installed. This truck has duel diesel tanks with fuel transfer pump. Also has custom camper shell with pass through to main cab. Storage under the bench/bunks with pressurized water storage.
