I drove this daily from 2000 2009, when it lost reverse gear. I ran the engine monthly until about 5 years ago when one of the main seals began to leak.
Aside from that :-) the engine is a Mercedes factory rebuild. In 2003, I had moved it from my rusty 1975 240D to this car. I estimate it has about 230K miles on it.
New propeller shaft in 1998 (special order from Mercedes-Benz in Germany).
New horsehair in every seat around 2000. The seats are all firm. The driver"s seat was recovered with new MB-Tex in 2005.
I do have the tan door panels and headliner to match the interior.
I have plenty of other spare parts that I kept from the "75.
The car will need to be removed within 1 week of end of auction.
