For sale is a totally rust free 1976 International Scout II. This truck is mostly original including the original paint and interior. I removed the original rubber floor mat (and discarded it). .look at the original paint on the original floors. .if you are into Scouts. .you know what you are looking at is pretty unbelievable. .make that unheard of. Scouts rust but because this one spent its life here in central California and Arizona. .it is as clean as can be. I bought this Scout some time ago from an 85 year old farmer who advised the Scout was purchased new less than 5 miles from his farm in central California. In fact, after buying it, he advised that the original selling dealer (which still exists) found out he was selling it and they actually tried to buy it back. I registered it in my name in Arizona but decided to sell rather than finish it up cosmetically (it needs paint and interior) because I am building a house which is taking all of my time. The engine appears to have been rebuilt at some time (not by me). .it runs well. I did install a new plastic gas tank and sending unit, new brake booster, master cylinder and wheel cylinders and new brake shoes and pads (disc brakes up front). I also installed a new heavy duty steering bar and new tires and I tuned it up and changed out all fluids. I put on a Scout SSII front grill which I like but still have the original grill. I also installed a tilt steering column but also still have the original (these parts come with it). I also added a Holley carburetor but again have the original that comes with it.
