Very clean car that has been in a garage for the majority of its life. I fell in love with this exact car as a kid in Reno, NV and wanted it ever since. I saw it come up for sale a couple of years ago while visiting my mom and bought it outright. The people I bought it from are the original owners with plenty of paperwork to show the work done. The car has a stock engine but not the original engine since the original engine blew up on them. The transmission is from a later car that has a 5 speed instead of the stock 4 speed. It has the standard Bosch fuel injection system and did have a recent engine rebuild from the previous owner"s mechanic which I can supply all of their paperwork. It has been sitting for about a year I believe there is a valve issue but will still run. I don"t recommend this as a daily driver until the valve issue is taken care of. Rust is fairly minimal since it has been in Reno, NV the majority of its life but started in Michigan I believe but only for a couple of years according to the owners. I can attest to it being in Reno a long time ago since I was going to first grade when I first noticed it and am now 35. Car appears to have been painted 3 times, stock color was the Datsun bronze, then red and now the blue you see. I have noticed Bondo repairs on the rear wheel wells and for the majority of the car it looks good except a couple of bubbles under the passenger front headlight. I cannot supply pics of under the hood but will in a week, its the standard 2.8L engine but will show it soon, I"m currently away from it. I"m selling my childhood dream build since I moved to San Diego and don"t have the room. Worst that can happen is I drag it down here and let it sit in my driveway so not looking to be low balled.
