Vehicle description
Lack of time dictates letting a few cars I have move on to their next owner. This is my 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 20,000 original miles. I purchased this car from the estate of a Cadillac Club member, who was the second owner, after it had been sitting for several years.
The car drives beautifully down the road. Brakes have no pulsing and the car tracks straight. Transmission shift smoothly and the motor idles quietly.
It was my plan to fix all the needs that plague these 70"s cars and have a nice driver for weekends however, other business needs are taking the time for me to address the car"s needs and the car also is being driven infrequently.
The good:
strong low mileage drivetrain beautiful interior newer exhaust nicely equipped with working PW, PDL, Twilight Sentinel, PSeat(s), PTrunk with powered pull-down feature, illuminated entry feature, cornering lamps, delay wipers and cruise control nice vinyl top beautiful headliner beautiful steering wheel; these tend to suffer from the inlaid plastic wood failing. This is the kind of steering wheel you see on a low mileage Caddy of this vintage nice original floor mats over nice carpeting; only one stain near power seat control on passenger"s side nice chrome
The bad: rear body fillers need replacement tires are old Broadway Classics; good tread but old power antenna and radio inoperable AC not cold; heat works fine engine compartment needs attention paint on hood and trunk needs attention these cars are prone to rust; this one has a small spot on the sail panel where the vinyl top meets the body and one spot under the belt molding These old Cads are great highway cruisers. It wont take someone who has the time and dedication to make this a nice driver and its a great candidate for a restoration.
Please dont hesitate to contact me for any details or questions you might have about the car. I have it for sale locally and have the right to cancel the auction if it should sell before the auction ends. Car is for pick up only. Pay pal accepted for deposit only ($1,000) within 48 hours of auction ending. DOnt bid please unless you wish to own!
Thanks!
