I purchased my beloved 1976 2002 in Woodside, CA, where we lived for 27 years. I was the second owner, drove it while commuting in Silicon Valley, until 1998, had some over-heating issues, replaced the head and tucked the car away with 89,000 miles. The car is all original, lots of upgrades done the last 2 years getting it ready to sell- radiator, thermostat, carburetor (Weber), ignition wires and distributor, brake system (master cylinder, lines, rotors, bearings), rebuilt clutch, Michelins, new battery, clean gas tank and fuel lines, and more. Has been detailed, looks better than the pics, interior is pretty good, rear seats were rarely used. The engine turned out to be a setback, in that it rattles when running (chain guide?), and it emits white smoke (Head gasket?) So my car needs a good home, it"s a great investment for one of you handy BMR guys, I live in Oregon now and the car is in the SF Bay Area, don"t have the facility to get it repaired myself but can show the car to serious buyers by appointment.
