I can arrange delivery for around $1.30 a mile (one way) within 500 miles. can can arrange farther distance if contacted prior possibly. Any delivery must be completely negotiated prior to auction end and will be 100% the buyers cost. The car is currently fully insured and will be hauled on an open flatbed. or you can arrange your own transportation.

Alfa Romeo Spider. I will start by saying im not a car collector. this is the only vehicle ive ever purchased older than 1990ish. . I happened to come across this car when buying a boat. the guy had owned it for approx. 10 yrs and was going through a divorce. so i bought the car out of impulse because it was beautiful sitting there. so when i describe the car i will provide you with what i think, what i know, and what i have no clue about. previous seller claimed never driven in rain etc, obviously never seen a winter!. I know since ive owned I have never driven, even after rain wet roads etc. I have never had the top up besides during inside heated storage. the top does have a patch barely noticeable near back window is very close to the size of a dollar bill. previous owner said hole got poked during storage and they used a waterproof patch kit meant for jeep wrangler soft tops.
as far as other cosmetic flaws the chrome badge behind passenger door is missing the colored afla romeo glass insert. the gasket on the drivers door sill is slightly out of place. i believe that is it.
the car must have been restored at some point. the inner fenders and firewall are very clean and the color matches. but, i couldn"t imagine a cars paint gloss lasting this well this long. in person the paint is absolute 10 out of 10. (my father was a body guy for years, so i know how to look for uneven body seems, improper shading, orange peel etc. the paint itself is amazing. If it has been redone the job meticulous in my opimiom. the paint literally looks like brand new. the pictures don"t do the paint job itself justice.
the engine block is also very clean free from oil buildup etc.very clean from top to bottom. can send pics. the car leaks absolutely nothing! never leaves a spot underneath.
ALL FLAWS OR ISSUES: as above stated: missing the insert for chrome badge on passenger side quarter, rubber gasket on door sill is slightly out of place in one spot (see pics), the oil pressure gauge isn"t functioning correctly. The shop said they hooked a manual gauge to it and it runs great oil pressure at idle and driving, recommended replacing gauge and line to gauge. i"ve never figured out the radio. I do not believe the blower fan works for heat but in my opinion thats a joke. never checked fuses etc because I only drive on very nice days.
I dont see any obvious non original parts besides radio. shift knob steering wheel all like new. the seats are in excellent shape, uncertain if there original or reupholstered. Again im not an alfa guy no knowledge of these cars. engine bay is impressively clean. trunk inside is clean and rust free when you remove carpet ( have pics) no rust in trunk area shock towers etc. underbody is also very clean. shows age but is not brown and rusty. brake lines look like brand new. new clutch less than 1000 miles. tires are great tread but leak down slightly in storage and may need replace but i drive 70mph on them no issues. theres no modified pieces or missing pieces that i can see. besides the speakers im not sure if thats factory ? see pics there on the outside of shift console near where your knees would go.
Car drives amazing, engine sounds great: no clatter, no miss, etc. great power, very nice clutch. tight steering, runs at correct temperature all day in any traffic condition. the only one thing i can say drive wise is that since the tires went low during storage theres a light vibration in steering wheel from (flat Spots). other wise no clunks, good brakes, suspension feels good
