The engine was professionally rebuilt by a foreign car speciallist in 1988 and repainted with original factory colors in 2002. The original odometer broke at approximately 30,000 miles. The odometer was replaced when the engine was rebuilt with a used one and currently reads 71,943 miles. It has been driven less than 5,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt. Overall the vehicle has less than 40,000 miles on it.
It has the original topper, conversion cover and interior. Its tires were replaced in 1979 when the vehicle was aquired with nonfactory originals (as pictured) but the spare is still the factory original red stripe.
