Vehicle description
Smog exempt car, interior in descent shape . Original Rims and Hubcaps with 4 new 225 / 70-14 tires and original spare tire from "74 (never used) . Original trim and some parts will be given as well. New Mercedes 280 DOHC Engine from Metric Motors in Southern California (installed in 2003) is strong and dependable, always maintained. You will have all 3 original owners manuals where all the service records are documented . Power steering and brakes. All new brake pads recently installed. Electronic Ignition installed to replace original points system , full tune-up (cap,rotor,new wires and spark plugs installed) and fresh oil/filter changed as well using European Mobil 1 0-40 Synthetic Oil . Carb has been cleaned and tuned by professional . New mufflers and pipe installed and transmission fluid and filter changed. 2005 Mercedes paint is Pearl Black on roof and Pearl Himalayan Pearl Gray on the body.
Some paint chipping here and there only on aluminum trim items, could be repainted or taken off . Trunk (carpeted) looks new as if unused. I have the front bumper with the original bumper shocks mounted which can be put back on . Special Black Fog lights added which come with the yellow lens film as well. With the new tune-up and electronic ignition along with the new mufflers this car starts and runs effortlessly .
Blaupunkt "Heidelberg" CD51 Radio/CD 4 speaker system. Original front and rear seats will go with you as these (pictured) are newly installed seats from a 300TD Benz. There is a custom option package available which includes Mercedes Benz light weight alloy wheels specially designed for this car and a very rare wood/leather Momo steering wheel chosen especially for this build.
