Vehicle description
1974 Jensen-Healey MK II, A nice two owner vintage racing machine It"s all original with its 907 Lotus engine, 4 speed manual tranny, dual Stromberg carburetors, J-H wheels, and all emblems. The dash and leather interior are in nice shape and all original. Exterior original paint and parts and I believe the soft top that is in great shape may not be original.
Body has original paint with some very poor body patches on rocker panels, floors are not rotted and I don’t believe this car was ever in an accident
The gauges all work; the radio is working and still have the original remote working, the clock and fuel Guage doesn"t work. After getting the car I put about and added 5k into the car, new battery, front calipers, rebuilt carbs, 2 new back tires, fuel pump and filters belts, cleaned out has tank, new plugs, wires, ignition coil, brake lines hoses, drive shaft rebuild, filters, new rear tires . .
The car sat for several years. It has 34,500 original miles.
I decided I’m sticking to my two vintage mustangs and letting this go to someone who will really enjoy it.
The car handles excellent, runs and drives ok but occasionally seem to get some level of gas restriction, maybe vapor lock.
