I bought the car from a veteran in Covina, he was the first owner and had purchased it personally from a dealership in Baldwin park in 1975. He had gotten the engine swapped professionally. He put a bed lid and got it repainted as well.
The front brake are disc and this is a fuel injected engine. He also had two subs installed in the flat bed and replaced the seats with bucket racing seats. The tranny is an automatic, making this one of the only fuel injected, automatic datsun 620’s.
This truck is fast, with many aftermarket parts, there are small nicks and dings because of the trucks age but for the most part the body is very straight with a clean title in my name. the truck requires a bit of engine work, I have already replaced the alternator and spark plugs, distributor wires, cap, and rotor, and the master cylinder cleaned the egr but it stalls when braking downhill so I recommend having it towed to your destination, because I live in a very hilly area but it does run and drive.
The car really is a unique ride and will be a great running classic with a little TLC. Plus you don’t have to smog it, which is nice. The truck is sold as is, serious inquiries only.
