Vehicle Details 1974 Datsun 620, 4 speed Pickup. Body Off Resotmod. When I first set eyes on this Datsun Classic, I was sold simply on what I could see from the top side. I did not expect to learn that the body was removed from the frame, before restoration began. I can't see everything, but from what I can see, and from what the previous owner confirmed, a tremendous amount of time and money went into what you see now. The pictures of the exterior, frame, hardware and underside speak for themselves. The paint does have some imperfections, but it is amazingly rich, deep and shiny, with no suprise, since housands of dollars went into prep and laying down some beautiful BMW coded paint. It is not a perfect truck, but to my unprofessional eye, it is a show stopper and could undoubtably be a show winner ! There are a few incidentals that one may wish to upgrade or complete; such as the bench seat could use some new foam on the drivers side; it has lost its firmness. Also there is one 5” seam on the drivers side where the thread has broke. It does need a speedo cable and hood latch cable. There are NO cracks and NO splits in the dash, and it looks great. As for improvements . . .the front brakes have been upgraded to Wilwood Disc, an aftermarket radiator, new rims, and new low profile tires, and a lowered suspension that can easily be returned to natural ride height, were incorporated into the performance of this awesome truck. All these making for a more thrilling, but safer, and friendlier truck to drive. Hoses, plug wires, plugs, distributor cap & rotor, fuel filter and oil change were also recently completed. A professionally applied spray - in bed liner was added and covers the entire bed floor, walls and the inside of the tailgate; (only when you open the tailgate is there some primer visible that did not get body color or liner. Easy to finish.) For your night time cruising pleasure, high intensity blue dot headlights have been installed, and a white faced gauge cluster. Extend your Cruising season without worry of being cold, as the heater and blower fan is in proper working order as well as the original radio to play your favorite old or new school tunes. As many older vehicles may go, this too prefers warmer weather and may sometimes present lite smoke upon start up and warm up during cold conditions. The truck is being “Sold As Is” without any implied warranty. 55K+ miles on the odometer, however, I can not confirm nor document these miles. I have tried to describe it as accurately and honestly as I can, but I am sure there are things I'm missing, overlooked or am unaware of.
