Vehicle description
1974 coupe. Wasn"t numbers matching so I had a professional install a 2002 LS1 engine and transmission. It"s all aluminum with aftermarket headers, intake, mother thumper cam, bigger valve, some headwork including bigger valves, upgraded stiffer valve springs, ARE headbolts, etc. During the swap he had to replace the steering box for clearance so that and the control arms are aftermarket/upgraded. New fuel tank was installed with the fuel pump in the tank like it should be. Computer is reprogrammed. Car is pretty fast with 425hp. It"s obviously fuel injected and has overdrive so it"s fun to drive anywhere, very reliable. Engine and trans had 70000 on it when pulled from a wreck. Factory guages all work with new engine, factory shifter works with upgraded transmission. Oil guage is inop. The car runs and drives very well. I just put brand new tires on the original rally wheels plus I have an extra set of Henley factory vette wheels with brand new mickey thompsons to go with it. Car has a $500 custom cover that is really nice plus Ttop covers. Stereo isn"t much but works fine. I have upgrade speaker bar for the rear that isn"t installed yet. Paint is nice but has a few areas that weren"t done perfectly, but from 10 feet it is slick. No leaks underneath. Overall a very nice car. Stored under cover in heated garage on battery tender. Don"t need to sell but looking to go another direction, probably a 69 camaro. Cash in hand buys it, title is in hand. No trades, no financing, no warranties, etc.
