1974 AMC Javelin. Original 6 cylinder automatic. P/S, P/B, A/C
Currently registered as a historic vehicle in ArizonaZero rust on this car. Runs and drives fantastic gets thumbs up and shows great everywhere it goes.
1974 AMC Javelin. Original 6 cylinder automatic. P/S, P/B, A/C. RARE VEHICLE. LAST YEAR OF PRODUCTION.
Currently registered as a historic vehicle in Arizona. Zero rust on this car. Runs and drives fantastic gets thumbs up and shows great everywhere it goes.
This car has just undergone a minor restoration to include the following:
All bodywork professionally done with brand new gunmetal gray paint and clear coated
vintage American racing 14 inch Hurricane wheels painted to match the car
Chrome side body trim has been removed but we do have the majority of it to go with the car including some emblems
Interior is 80% redone with new factory fit carpet kit, rear seat and window deck professionally custom
upholstered
Brand new racing style front bucket seats, headliner in great shape
Door / side panels and dash redone in black to match interior color
Custom center console with Bluetooth hands free phone stereo mounted inside to allow for dash to show vintage radio
All brakes and components inspected and replacement calipers and pads installed 75% on rear
New urethane strut rod bushings
2 brand new tires on rear, front tires are in excellent shape
New aluminum radiator installed and thermostat replaced, motor runs cool even in 100+ degrees
Fresh tune up and oil change
New turn signal switch
All lights work as they should
Passes Arizona 2 gas emissions
All mechanical inspections and work done by 30+ year mechanic
Glass in good shape and door windows function properly
What is left to do….
Some interior panels still need finishing and dash has minor warpage anything left is easily repaired and
completed
Air condition system is complete and intact on the car, Compressor will engage with 12v but does not
blow cold air, has not been inspected as to what may be needed
Horn not working, has not been inspected as to why
Doors open and close great but could use alignment to fit flush Star crack in windshield.
Bought as my 16 yr olds first car but after restoration, son is scared to make as daily driver; afraid someone will damage it. Definitely a head turner. All extra parts go with car; some are brand new, some original to car and some purchased to restore.
