1971 AMC Javelin, 304 engine, automatic transmission, no reserve auction. Let"s be honest; no amount of Instagram filter would make this 20 year yard ornament look like a super model. But it sure as hell has potential. Green exterior, green/white interior. Engine is bored and honed, new pistons (short block is assembled but out of car on stand, clean and covered). Not sure if it has the original engine (i do believe so but am not that familiar with AMC"s). It has has been bored 0.030 over with new pistons/rings/balanced. It is at my fathers place and we recently moved him into assisted living and need to clear out his property to take care of him. This was my brother Scott"s car and he has the title (clear). The car is in Crestline, Ca. (no additional charge on pine cones). My brother Scott will handle the transaction, show, etc as he lives relatively close. Most metal seems to be in pretty good shape. Will need wiring harness. Best offer takes this sweet Green Machine AMC home. Ok, sweet may be a stretch; she"s going to take some work to get her back into fighting shape, but hell, this is "Murica and we make rad things happen. Somebody restore this thunderous green ride and properly terrorize pavement and Toyota Prius drivers.
