Vehicle description
This 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider is a Barn Find, and it"s in all original condition.
Initially, it had been stored inside. Then, it was stored outside with a car cover for a very long (nobody knows) time, and the car cover was in pieces when it was discovered.
After cleaning out the old gas; changing the fuel filter, oil, oil filter, and spark plugs, it started right up!
It runs a little rough. Apparently, 2 of the injectors are not working properly at idle RPM. However, at a higher RPM, all 4 of the injectors seem to work fine.
Also, the brake calipers are frozen, as a result of the car sitting for so long. I drove it a very short distance, and it felt kinda like driving with the emergency brake on. Obviously, a complete service on the entire brake system (pads, calipers, master cylinder, etc.) should be the first order of priority, before driving the car.
It looks like there is a newer Ansa exhaust.
The mileage cannot be verified. .
Basically, this Spider will need a total restoration. The paint is old and cracked. It comes with a partial tool kit, and the original jack.
As you can see in the pictures, the floors will need to be repaired, since they are rusted through.
